Article Marketing


Article Marketing atau pemasaran melalui artikel adalah salah satu strategi promosi yang sering digunakan oleh internet marketer. Konsepnya sederhana, siapkan artikel sebanyak-banyaknya — baik dengan menulis sendiri maupun menyewa jasa orang lain –, sisipkan kode affiliasi kita beserta resource box yang mengarah ke situs dagangan kita (atau situs pembangun list), dan kemudian sebarkan ke berbagai penjuru internet, terutama situs-situs layanan direktori artikel atau free publish / free reprint article semacam EZineArticles.Com dan ArticleCity.Com. Simpel kan?


Apakah hasilnya instan?


Tentu saja tidak. Everyone can be lucky sometimes, but there’s no such thing as an instant success.


Namun bedanya, dibandingkan dengan tehnik konventional seperti berpromosi via PPC atau mengandalkan SEO, justru dalam Article Marketing prospek terjualnya produk yang kita promosikan mengalir begitu saja. Apalagi apabila artikel yang kita letakkan di layanan yang saya sebutkan di atas cukup banyak diminati orang untuk di-copas. Kode affiliasi yang disisipkan akan turut menyertainya dan secara tidak langsung orang lain telah membantu Anda dalam berpromosi.


Keuntungan lain, dalam Article Marketing, promosi kita tidak akan dibatasi oleh besarnya budget dan algoritma mesin pencari Google yang sering goyang.


Bagaimana dengan media blog? Dapatkah dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana untuk melakukan Article Marketing? Tentu saja bisa. Namun menurut saya, ada sedikit perbedaan antara melakukan Artikel Marketing melalui blog dengan melalui layanan artikel direktori. Yaitu, pada media blog, kita sudah memiliki pasar dan komunitas yang jelas, sehingga kita tinggal mensinkronisasikan antara minat pengunjung dengan produk yang ingin kita promosikan. Sebaliknya, pada layanan artikel direktori, kita bebas untuk mempromosikan produk apa saja (dalam artikel yang kita buat) karena nanti peminat artikel akan datang dengan sendirinya.


Yah setidaknya ada beberapa (ribu) situs pengguna tool auto content generator yang siap untuk mengkopas artikel Anda di sana :)


Saya sendiri lebih suka memanfaatkan media blog. Bukannya fanatik, namun sudah berulang-ulang submit artikel ke EzineArticles selalu saja ditolak. Huh.

5 Basic Affiliate Marketing Principles That Will Help You Make Money

There are many ways to make money online, and one of the easiest ways to get started for many people, is through basic affiliate marketing. But, many people still struggle trying to figure out how to do it effectively, and to make enough money that they can consider doing it full time.

Affiliate marketing doesn’t need to be difficult, provided you are prepared to do a bit of work and keep learning. There will always be new methods and ideas that can be used to help you grow your income online, but if you understand the basics you can start seeing results.

1. Find a market. The first step is finding a good market to target. You want to find one that has enough people searching for the information you will be pointing them to. It is best to try finding a market that has less competition, but still has a high number of searches.

2. Research possible affiliate programs that you can promote. There is no use in having a great market to target, if there aren’t any programs offered for you to be promoting. The basic affiliate marketing definition is promoting a product or

service in return for a share of the sale. If there aren’t any programs being offered, then you will not have anything to offer your target market. It is also a good idea to check on the payment plan. You want to be sure that you will be getting enough money from each sale to make your promotion worthwhile.

3. Set up your marketing strategy. This is the step that so many people get caught up on. Once you have chosen and applied for the programs you are going to promote, you now need to start marketing. There are many options for doing this, and it can be very easy to get overwhelmed and confused about what will work. There are some

who do only article marketing, some who do pay-per-click, some who set up websites and use search engine optimization to bring traffic in, and there are those who do all of these and more.

4. Promote your affiliate program. This follows with the step before, where you have now decided exactly how you are going to market the program. While this may sound simple on paper, it can be easy to get sidetracked, or discouraged when you aren’t seeing results instantly. It can be quite frustrating to be using article marketing

as your main method of promotion, and be writing and submitting 10 articles a day, without seeing results right away. It is important to remember to stick with one plan, get it set up and working for you, before moving on to another one.

5. Start again. This is where the money is going to be made. Find another target market, and repeat the steps above until you start seeing income from that one. This is where many go wrong. They don’t wait until they start seeing some kind of results from the first one, before moving on to the next market. Sometimes you will hit a

great market, and will see phenomenal results right away, but more likely you will need to keep working at it, and keep building up your income streams.
The most important thing to remember is not to give up too soon on one market or method of promotion. Try to remember these basic affiliate marketing principles, and you will see results. It won’t happen overnight, but if you keep learning and trying new ideas, you will soon be making money like the super affiliates!
